Great, but be alert of 3 versions/generations Nothing really fancy, but I'd buy it again. It's great! good tablet if you want a good tablet at a good price. If you plan to use this to skype a lot, then pick out another tablet. For those of you that don't know, "VGA Camera" is another term for a 0.3 Megapixel camera, and it's not great. The front camera is VERY grainy and low quality, and the front camera is MUCH worse. The Cameras- Now, I know that most people buying this tablet don't really want/need a souped-up 4K Ultra HD 40 Megapixel camera, but if you're gonna use the camera, be warned. It lasts about 1-2 days with mixed use, however, this is the only component that makes me think "$50 Tablet".

Of course, if you just can't stand the ads, you can remove them for $15, at the time of this review.īattery Life- The battery life is pretty good, but nothing spectacular. Occasionally, it'll pop up with exclusive deals that may interest you.

They're just there, no videos or ads you're forced to watch. The Special Offers- The special offers really aren't as bad as they'd seem at first. I've never noticed any lag and it's really good with games. Internals- Pretty g ood specs on a $50 tablet. The back is a matte plastic finish, so it looks and feels nice, and it also helps with the grip and durability of the tablet, so you can use it without a case if you'd like. The OS- Pretty easy to navigate, looks nice. The Screen- It's just shy of 720p, and unless you are used to 4K screens, then this will be just fine for you. Boy, was I wrong! Not only does this live up to the tasks mentioned earlier, it plays all the popular games with ease, never slows down, and looks great! At first, all I wanted to use it for was music listening, reading, and video streaming, and at that point, I figured that that would be all the tablet would be able to do. I got this tablet about a week ago as a replacement for an old, slow tablet. Verified purchase: Yes | Condition: Pre-owned

FREE TIME UNLIMETED ON OLDER KINDLE FIRE FULL
If your looking for a full function tablet I would choose an IPad over this for adults.īut for a child tablet or a really basic adult tablet it would be fine. And a lot of parents from my researches have said the same.
FREE TIME UNLIMETED ON OLDER KINDLE FIRE FREE
You may be able to disable the feature but I h aven't figures out how.Īlso there are barely any audio book options free or bought. For older kids I say its fine but I really wanted to limit my kids access to only the apps I want her to use. Those buttons give suggested apps and videos for your kid based on there age. I want my kid to only be able to use what I put on her screen. The kids free time has some great features but you can't completely lock some features like the book app and video buttons on the top of the screen so your kid can access that while in Freetime so for me I don't like that. It loads fine and has a good quality screen and can function as a simple adult ereader tablet with a web browser and everything. When reading reviews it sounded really customizable but it's pretty basic. I got this for my daughter because of the parental controls.
